Loving cut out dresses!

Hey, Its Kelly :) I'm loving cut-out dresses at the minute, take a look at some of the designer ones that all the celebrities are wearing and some of the more affordable high street choices that I have picked out :).



Check out this Aqua Couture Dress as seen on Frankie from The Saturdays! You'd have to be very daring to wear this one but I love it. You can get this black version for £85.00 from ASOS. Look below for some less daring options :).

If you love cut out dresses but aren't confident enough to flash your tummy then take a leaf out of Leighton Meester's book and show off your shoulders. She was ahead of the style trend when she wore this beautiful cut out and sheer dress by Emilio de la Morena. Show everyone that shoulders can be sexy too by wearing this gorgeous river island version at only £24.99.

Bottom pic- is a dress that is nearly the exact same from Asos at only £26.00

On the left is my best-friend-but-she-doesn't-know-it, Kim Kardashian in Sena. She is also accessorising with cut out shoes and a fab necklace for some added glam. She looks stunning as always.

On the right is a very similar dress from topshop for only £45.00...love it! Just add a chunky necklace and you'll have heads turning just like Kim!

Throw on a leather jacket to add to your edgy look and add some cut out heels and you'll look amazing! Keep Make-up and hair simple if you want to play down your look or put your hair into a tight high bun and add jewellery for a more severe edgy look.

Look At Irina Shayk, Ronaldos girlfriend/ex-girlfriend/whatever she is to him at the premiere of Twelve in New York on Wednesdasy night. The underwear model looks amazing in a Herve Leger body con bandage dress and Christian Louboutin heels. The colour of the dress really compliments her skin tone. She has kept hair and accessories simple, only accessorizing with anklets and a black clutch. I think she looks absolutely stunning! :)

Welcome to our online fashion bible.
We are Kelly and Lexy and we hope to satisfy all your fashion needs right here on our blog.

First let us introduce ourselves,

K&L: 20

Why did we start a blog?

K: Well me and Lexy have always been on the same wavelength, we have a really big group of really close things but we have always been interested in the same things in a way which our other friends dont understand. We are both passionate about fashion and beauty and are both addicted to Th City, Lexy is the Lauren to my Whitney. We decided since we are both interested in clothing, beauty products, accessories and makeup and that two heads are better than one we should put ours together and start a blog to bring all the latest fashion and beauty trends to all you committed fashion followers.
L: Kelly and I are the same people, we finish eachothers sentences lol. Fashion and beauty is something I have always been interested in, you would think my bedroom was a paper factory with all the endless piles of magazines and and cutout pictures plastering my room. If someone has a passion why not share it? This is what made us decide to do what we love, whether its clothes makeup hair or jewellery i'll be there checking it out.

How would you describe your style?
K: I like wearing stuff that no-one else has, I buy boys tops and cut them up and customise them to make them suit me. At work I like to look smart casual and team high waisted skirts with baggy tops, tights and heels. Other days I like to be more relaxed with my style but I still always like to have something a bit different. I recently bought a pair of Khaki Zebra Print harem pants from River Island which I love, Alex helped me pick them. We always go to eachother for style advice when shopping or going on a night out. For nights out I like to glam up team dresses with heels.
L:I don't have a set style, I love the casual look even for nights out, I feel comfortable in an understated outfit and go for it with jewellery, I always look a bit unkept lol. Accessories are what bring an outfit together so i could deff call myself a shoes and bag girl, you will always find me with something odd.

Who are your style icons?
K: I don't follow anyone in particualr but I love Classic Hollywood movie stars with retro curls, I always really admire The Kardashian sisters, they are perfect examples of people who know how to dress for their shape and they always look immaculate.
L:I'm the same, I'm not really into one person, but I really like people like Jessica Stam for her laid back look, Lauren Conrad's effortless makeup and Katy Perry for being who she wants to be...Oompa Loompa nails and all.

Current Favourite Trend?
K: At the minute I am loving shoulder embellishments, cut-out dresses and fringing. I'm also really liking tube skirts that are really starting to emerge although I wish they had come out sooner in the year.
L: Shoes shoes shoes, I am loving the thick heeled platforms from miu miu at the mintue with they different designs, river island are bringing the perfect copies out, they are pink with black patterns and embellishment at the front, designer style at high street prices.

Do you follow any other blogs?
K: Yes i follow 3 main blogs, http://www.kimkardashian.com/, http://www.khloekardashian.celebuzz.com/ and http://www.dulcecandy.com/. These are great for seeing what the girls are up to and all their lastest fashion must haves.
L:To be honest I dont follow many put the two I always make sure I keep up with are TiffanyD, http://www.makeupbytiffanyd.blogspot.com/ she is a makeup artist that just makes everything look so effortless and breaks down looks so that they are easy to do, she also has a makeup collection to die for. I also follow Kandee Johnson http://www.kandeethemakeupartist.blogspot.com/ another amazing makeup artist with style and personality to die for.

What are your future goals?
K: We are both really ambitious, I love doing makeup and I love clothes and accessories. Lexy and I really want to go into business together hopefully starting with an online shop and then progressing into an actual store where customers can come in and see what we do. If I'm doing jobs that I love then I'll be happy and hopefully Lexy will be there the whole way.
L: Getting further in my career and expanding into the fashion world would be a dream come true, Kelly and I have ideas we want to happen, we are working our way to opening our very own shop so that we can bring the follower from our blog their passion for fashion into real life.

We will both have our own new favourite item of the week, whether its from accessories, clothing,jewellery, bags, makeup or beauty products. We will tell you what we like about the item, how it can be styled, where it's from and how much it costs.

Product Reviews-
We test products and let you know what we think is good bad or just plain ugly. We might even test a few types of fake tan or eyebrow pencils or anything else we can think of and let you know which is the best. If there are any products you'd like us to review or you'd like to send us a product or item to review you can get in touch with us via our email.

Style Stalkers-
This is something that we are both really excited about. In this section we are going to ask stylish girls, just like all of you reading the blog, if they would like to be featured in our blog. We will take photos of the girls and ask them questions about their style, what they are wearing and who their influences are and then we will post it for all to see. Style Stalking will usually take place in Belfast, whether its during daytime shopping or night time partying. If you would like to be featured in this section you know what to do...drop us an email :)

Interviews-
Hopefully we will get the opportunity to interview people in the industry and share all this information with you guys :)
